The Presidential Management Fellows (PMF) Program is your answer to all three.
Presidential Management Fellows are high-performing, advanced-degree holders recruited from accredited colleges and universities by the Office of Personnel Management. Agencies pay a small fee to OPM to hire a Presidential Management Fellow to cover the cost of:
- Recruitment, nomination, assessment and qualification at GS- 9 (including adjudication of veterans’ preference)
- Agency participation in annual PMF Job Fair for finalists
- PMF Orientation and Training Program
- Other training opportunities including fellowship forums
- Graduation ceremony for Fellows
- Online access to post positions and/or search resumes
- Training, support and assistance for agencies
