SES Leadership Horizons Series: Executive Equilibrium

Schedule
  • January 6 - 8, 2010 @ Federal Executive Institute, Charlottesville, VA   $3495 REGISTER
Overview

More and more executive in senior leadership positions report feeling out of balance. In the Harvard Business Review, Stewart Friedman observes, "many people feel unfulfilled, overwhelmed or stagnant because they are forsaking performance in one or more aspects of their lives. They aren't bringing their leadership abilities to bear in all of life's domains--work, home, community and self (mind, body and spirit)". The demands placed on SES members can contribute to a feeling of imbalance and impact productivity.

This unique course is designed to help restore equilibrium in your own life. Working with FEI faculty and peers from across Government, you will discuss and explore ways to balance leadership responsibilities. This course will help you recognize successful patterns, habits and behaviors for making informed choices that support your goals and make you a more effective leader. You will also consider the impact of imbalance, on others in your organization and brainstorm ideas for improving staff performance and retention. Post-program conversations generate goals for continued equilibrium.
